Mazda Reports Historic Vehicle Sales Growth in February 2025
Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) recently announced impressive sales results for February 2025, marking an all-time high with a total of 33,538 vehicles sold. This figure represents a 2.5% increase compared to February of the previous year. Notably, the year-to-date sales are also robust, totaling 67,219 units, a 6.7% improvement over the same period last year. The growth has been particularly impressive considering the reduced number of selling days in February this year, only 24 days compared to last year's 25 days. When measured on a daily sales rate basis, the results shine even brighter with a 6.8% increase.
In terms of certified pre-owned vehicles, the sales totaled 5,597 units, experiencing a slight decline of 0.8% from February 2024. However, the success of Mazda's new models has continued to drive interest in the brand, highlighted by the record-breaking sales numbers for the CX-50, CX-70, and CX-90 variants. The CX-50 achieved sales of 7,280 units, the CX-70 reached 1,223 units, and the CX-90 sold 4,769 units, all reaching historical highs for February.
Additionally, Mazda Canada, Inc. reported strong performance as well, with sales totaling 4,559 vehicles in February, reflecting an 11.9% increase in comparison to January of the previous year. For the year-to-date, Mazda Canada has sold 9,301 vehicles, representing an 8.8% growth over last year's figures. Meanwhile, Mazda Motor de México reported impressive sales of 9,299 vehicles for February, which is an astounding 40% increase compared to February 2024.
Accompanying the overall increases, Mazda emphasizes its commitment to enhancing customer experiences and innovating in vehicle craftsmanship.
