CFMOTO 675SR-R to Become the Official Motorcycle of WorldWCR 2027

In a landmark agreement, the CFMOTO 675SR-R, a high-performance three-cylinder sports motorcycle, will serve as the official bike for the FIM World Women's Circuit Racing Championship (WorldWCR) kicking off in 2027. This historic partnership with the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) and Dorna WSBK Organization marks a first for a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer to be an official provider for an FIM World Championship. The WorldWCR, established in 2024, is the first global racing series created specifically for female riders, showcasing their talents on a level playing field, as all competitors will utilize identical bikes to emphasize rider skill and ability.

A Proven Competitor

The CFMOTO 675SR-R is powered by a 675cc liquid-cooled, three-cylinder engine, designed in-house, delivering a peak output of 70 kW (about 95 HP) at 11,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 70 Nm at 8,250 rpm. This robust performance sets the stage for its development in competitive racing environments. The motorcycle has already made waves in the British Superbike Championship (BSB), securing podium finishes during its inaugural season, making it the first production motorcycle from China to achieve such accolades in the BSB.

The impressive performance heritage of the 675SR-R is a result of close collaboration between CFMOTO and the Aspar racing team, who are also involved in Moto2 and Moto3. During the development phase, Aspar's riders and technical staff played a crucial role in testing and refining the bike, ensuring its production model is not only competitive but also race-ready. CFMOTO's journey began with winning the Moto3 Constructors' World Championship, and this new partnership with WorldWCR further solidifies its commitment to elevating the global perception of Chinese motorcycle manufacturing.

A New Era for CFMOTO

The upcoming 2027 season will mark a significant milestone for CFMOTO as the 675SR-R makes its competitive debut in one of the most prestigious women's motorcycle championships worldwide. To facilitate this, CFMOTO will provide a comprehensive technical support system for all racing teams, encompassing the preparation of racing motorcycles, spare parts supply, and a dedicated technical team present at each event. This initiative highlights CFMOTO's commitment to not only participate but also ensure the success of the championship and its riders. As the 675SR-R showcases its prowess on the track, it promises to attract a new generation of motorcycle enthusiasts while promoting women in motorsport on an international scale.
