Express Wash Concepts Makes Significant Donation to Cleveland Guardians Charities During Inspires Week

Express Wash Concepts (EWC), the parent company of Clean Express Auto Wash, recently made a record-setting donation of $53,690 to Cleveland Guardians Charities during its fifth annual CLE Inspires Week fundraising initiative. The donation was made at Progressive Field on June 9, 2026 and represents a nearly 100% increase compared to the previous year, where EWC contributed $28,450. This year’s impressive figure is a testament to the unwavering support from customers and team members alike.

The funds were generated through a special three-day promotional campaign that featured the Guardians Shine + Ceramic wash package. A portion of each wash sale went directly to the Guardians' charitable initiatives aimed at promoting youth development and enhancing community welfare. John Roush, the founder and CEO of Express Wash Concepts, expressed his gratitude, stating, "Our customers and team members continue to show what's possible when a community comes together around a great cause." Their commitment to making a difference extends beyond car washes, focusing on creating opportunities for local youth and families in need.

EWC’s donation is part of its broader

EWC Cares initiative, which supports various nonprofit organizations and community projects across regions they serve. The company believes in empowering individuals to contribute positively to their communities through a multitude of activities, including fundraising campaigns, donations during grand openings, towel exchange programs, sponsorship initiatives, and community grants. The deadline for applications for the 2026 EWC Cares community grants is October 31, 2026, encouraging local organizations to apply for funding at cleanexpresswash.com/washsmart-grant-form. Since its inception, EWC Cares has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to causes primarily focused on youth education, health, and community enrichment.

EWC is proud to be a partner of the Cleveland Guardians and has been recognized multiple times as a Top Workplace by The Plain Dealer and cleveland.com. Currently, it operates 58 express car wash locations throughout Cleveland, Detroit, Toledo, and Pittsburgh, with plans for further expansion across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.
