Discover Colombin's New Autumn Cake Lineup

Colombin Co., Ltd., headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, is set to tantalize taste buds with its new seasonal cakes starting from August 21. With a commitment to quality, Colombin sources exquisite ingredients such as Shine Muscat grapes from a renowned vineyard in Nagano and luxurious Hokkaido pumpkin to create four delectable cake varieties perfect for fall.

The Cakes:

1. Shine Muscat Shortcake (¥1,296 incl. tax)
This delightful shortcake features three plump Shine Muscat grapes that offer a burst of juicy flavor. The cake combines light whipped cream, a moist sponge infused with rich eggs, and the delightful aroma of these premium grapes to create a harmonious and utterly delicious experience.

2. Chocolat Marron (¥891 incl. tax)
Indulge in a smooth chocolate cake made from high-quality French couverture chocolate. This luxurious dessert nests a velvety chestnut brûlée within rich chocolate mousse, topped with a disk of chestnut paste that adds a unique flavor component. The marriage of rich chocolate and chestnut results in an irresistibly deep taste.

3. Smooth Pumpkin Pudding (¥783 incl. tax)
This creamy pumpkin pudding is crafted using ample amounts of Hokkaido’s Ebisu pumpkin, resulting in a silky texture. The pudding is further enriched with milk and cream for a full-bodied flavor, complemented by a hint of bitterness from homemade caramel, light whipped cream, and roasted hazelnuts which enhance the overall taste.

4. Caramel Poire Roll (¥2,160 incl. tax)
A beautifully balanced roll cake that features a fragrant homemade caramel cream paired with poire (pear) buttercream. Topped with homemade caramel sauce, caramel in the style of yokan, and raspberry chocolate, this treat has a moist roll cake infused with vanilla, a subtly bitter caramel cream, and the enticing aroma of pear for an exquisite balance.
