Background and Purpose

In today's rapidly changing socio-economic environment, HR departments are required to make more sophisticated decisions and demonstrate flexibility than ever before. Many HR practitioners face fundamental questions regarding their roles and responsibilities within this shifting context, particularly concerning the impact of generative AI and other emerging technologies.

To address these challenges, the HR Library conceived the conference with the theme, "Where does HR come from, and where is it headed?"
