Background and Purpose
In today's rapidly changing socio-economic environment, HR departments are required to make more sophisticated decisions and demonstrate flexibility than ever before. Many HR practitioners face fundamental questions regarding their roles and responsibilities within this shifting context, particularly concerning the impact of generative AI and other emerging technologies.
To address these challenges, the HR Library conceived the conference with the theme, "Where does HR come from, and where is it headed?" This concept invites participants to examine the history and business environment of HR while reflecting on the role of contemporary technology. The aim was to reassess the core of HR and redefine its relevance in the future.
