Mazda Reports November Sales Results, Slight Decrease in Vehicle Sales Compared to Last Year

Mazda Reports November Sales Results

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) recently revealed its vehicle sales figures for November, marking a total of 32,909 units sold. This represents a modest decline of 1.5% compared to the same month in 2024. Despite this decrease, Mazda saw a slight improvement in its daily sales rate. The cumulative sales for the year now stand at 377,736 vehicles, down 1.7% compared to the previous year's figures.

Sales Highlights

November was notable as Mazda recorded the second-best sales for the month since 1990. Particularly impressive was the performance of the CX-50 model, which achieved its highest sales for November, totaling 11,583 units. The daily sales rate (DSR) also showed an uptick of 2.4%, a positive note in an otherwise flat monthly performance due to one less sales day compared to 2024.

Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle sales were also strong, with 6,522 units sold in November, reflecting a 1% increase year-over-year. Year-to-date CPO sales climbed to 69,223, representing a 0.4% growth from the previous year.

Regional Performance

Mazda Canada Inc. performed well, with 5,982 vehicles sold in November — a 5% increase from 2024. Year-to-date, sales in Canada showed a remarkable rise of 13.5%, totaling 76,814 vehicles.

In Mexico, Mazda Motor de México reported sales of 13,810 vehicles for November, marking a 1% increase compared to the previous year, bringing the year-to-date total to 98,161 vehicles, an increase of 8%.
