SALONIA, a minimalistic beauty appliance brand under I-ne Co., Ltd., based in Osaka, has recently been awarded the Youth Support Encouragement Award at the 11th Corporate Volunteer Awards hosted by the Tokyo Volunteer and Citizen Activity Center. By collaborating with non-profit organizations, SALONIA goes beyond mere product donations. Collaboration with Kids Door



To tackle issues of child poverty in Japan, SALONIA partnered with the certified NPO Kids Door to hold a workshop called "CREATE YOUR BEAUTY by SALONIA" in November 2024 for second-year high school students preparing for graduation and career paths. This workshop focused on discovering one's unique beauty through the art of hairstyling.

The workshop featured a hairdresser who overcame a difficult family background and achieved their dreams as a speaker. Their role was to address the students' concerns, such as not knowing what hairstyle would be appropriate for interviews or lacking opportunities to experience beauty. By teaching them how to set their hair using straighteners, the students were able to enhance their confidence.

Moreover, the hairdresser shared personal experiences to inspire the students, reinforcing the message of hope as they navigate significant life transitions.

Expanding Support for Women



Not stopping there, SALONIA is broadening its activities to include a Career Support Project for women facing economic and familial challenges. This initiative, organized by the Showa Welfare Association, will include training sessions in July and August 2025. These sessions will offer content related to hairstyling and grooming techniques designed to help women highlight their inherent charm during interviews.

In addition to these programs, SALONIA has made enormous contributions by donating a total of 1,317 items across 76 locations through partnerships with the Tokyo Benevolence Bank and the Osaka City Council for Social Welfare. This continuous effort demonstrates the brand's commitment to enhancing the beauty experience for all.
