FOTON debuted its next-generation GALAXUS platform, which redefines the heavy-duty truck sector. This innovative platform supports a variety of energy sources—fuel, electric, hydrogen, gas, and hybrid—integrating eight core values. With over 90 self-developed technologies, GALAXUS boasts an electric drivetrain featuring a remarkable efficiency of 97.5%, megawatt-level charging capabilities, and a 7% increase in overall energy efficiency. The smart driving system, tested over 2 million kilometers, enables an evolution from autonomy levels L2 to L4, positioning the GALAXUS line-up—including R9, R5, and D3 models—as versatile solutions for long-haul transportation and express delivery needs.

DAYSTAR: Revolutionizing Light Electric Trucks

Responding to the growing demands of urban logistics, FOTON unveiled its completely electric light truck platform, DAYSTAR, following extensive user needs analysis. This platform effectively addresses common issues such as charging difficulties and high operating costs. Leveraging 800V high-voltage architecture, silicon carbide controllers, and oil-cooled motors, DAYSTAR achieves a substantial 20% enhancement in overall energy efficiency. Additionally, the design features a car-inspired cabin, enabling Over-The-Air (OTA) updates across the vehicle, validated by over 6 million kilometers of rigorous testing to ensure reliability.

Innovations in Last-Mile Delivery and Electric Vans

For last-mile logistics, FOTON launched the new-generation mini truck, Wonder Plus, which offers an unparalleled payload capacity and the longest, widest cargo bed in its class, supported by a double wishbone suspension for enhanced comfort and handling. Furthermore, the company revealed the world’s first exclusive delivery vehicle platform powered by alternative energy sources, CAVAN C1. Adhering to global standards with a fully electric design, CAVAN C1 is fitted with a self-developed high-safety battery system that achieves over 93.5% driveline efficiency and fast charging capabilities (2.2C), enabling a range of 100 km in just 10 minutes.
