Graham Smith Takes the Helm as General Manager of Ten Tenths Motor Club
The world of luxury automotive experiences has just gained a notable player with the appointment of Graham Smith as the General Manager of the Ten Tenths Motor Club, a premier venue located next to the iconic Charlotte Motor Speedway. This exclusive club, designed for automotive enthusiasts and corporate events, is rolling out plans to provide exceptional experiences that cater to car lovers and collectors.
Smith's journey in the realm of motorsports has been remarkable. Starting with the Operations team at Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2012, he honed his skills through various roles including corporate sales and managing director of U.S. Legend Cars International. By the time he became the Vice President of OEM partnerships in 2023, he had made significant contributions to enhance relationships with original equipment manufacturers. His leadership proved invaluable in the establishment of Ten Tenths Motor Club, a collaboration between Speedway Motorsports and legendary NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick.
In an official statement, Mike Burch, the President and COO of Speedway Motorsports, acknowledged Smith's unique qualifications for this role, emphasizing his strong background in operations and event management. Burch believes that Smith's passion for the industry will be instrumental in ensuring the long-term prosperity of the club.
Ten Tenths Motor Club boasts a state-of-the-art 1.7-mile road course with 19 turns, a design crafted by Formula 1 veteran Alexander Wurz, adding an exhilarating dimension to the club's offerings. Additionally, it is complemented by a luxurious clubhouse that spans 20,000 square feet, inspired by the renowned Turn 11 at Sonoma Raceway. The club has ambitious plans for future expansion which include climate-controlled garages, a cigar lounge, a bourbon bar, and a putting course. Such facilities align perfectly with the desires of automotive enthusiasts who seek high-end experiences and services in a distinguished environment.
Since opening its doors in April 2025, the club has already received an array of positive feedback. The inaugural event, the third annual Heritage Invitational, celebrated the rich history and innovation of automobiles. This event featured the Historic Trans Am Racing Series and a celebrity Pro-Am charity fundraiser, setting a high bar for forthcoming engagements. With the next Heritage Invitational scheduled to occur from April 9-11, 2026, interest in the venue continues to build.
Graham Smith shared his excitement about leading the Ten Tenths Motor Club, stating, "Witnessing Ten Tenths evolve from a vision to one of the nation's premier luxury automotive destinations has been an incredible experience. I’m honored to lead the club as General Manager and eager to showcase its potential for special events and community engagements."
