Flex Appoints Kevin Krumm as New CFO

Flex, a prominent player in manufacturing and technology innovation, has made a significant human capital addition by announcing the appointment of Kevin S. Krumm as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 6, 2025. With extensive experience spanning over two decades in the industrial, chemical, and healthcare sectors, Mr. Krumm is poised to steer Flex’s financial strategy as the company looks to enhance shareholder value and achieve its transformative goals.

Transition of Leadership

Krumm will be succeeding Jaime Martinez, who has been serving as the interim CFO. Martinez will continue to support Flex during this transition period, ensuring a seamless handover of responsibilities. In his new role, Krumm will report directly to Revathi Advaithi, the CEO of Flex, fortifying a leadership team committed to continuing the company’s momentum in creating shareholder value.

Revathi Advaithi expressed her anticipation of working closely with Krumm, highlighting his proven leadership skills and track record of success across various industries that align with Flex's strategic objectives. She stated, “Kevin's demonstrated leadership and success across several industries is well aligned with Flex's strategy. I look forward to partnering with Kevin to continue to create shareholder value and drive Flex’s long-term financial success.”

A Wealth of Experience

Prior to his appointment at Flex, Krumm held the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at APi Group Corporation, a leader in global market business services. His career also includes a significant 15-year tenure at Ecolab Inc., where Krumm excelled in numerous roles leading up to his most recent position as Corporate Treasurer and Senior Vice President of Global Financial Shared Services. Krumm's profound experience, particularly in financial management, positions him uniquely to handle the complexities of Flex's diverse operations.

“I am delighted to be joining the Flex team,” said Krumm. “Flex is uniquely positioned at the intersection of innovation and operational excellence, with a strong legacy of collaboration and execution. I look forward to working with the Flex team to build on its track record of financial performance and continue to deliver shareholder value.” With a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Krumm's educational background supports his extensive professional qualifications, aligning well with the demands of the CFO role.
