Kakuyasu Navi Online for Restaurants Undergoes Major Renewal to Enhance Efficiency and Service

Major Renewal of Kakuyasu Navi Online for Restaurants

Kakuyasu, a subsidiary of Hitomile Group, has announced a comprehensive overhaul of its restaurant-focused ordering platform, Kakuyasu Navi Online. This renovated service is set to launch in November 2025 and aims to address pressing industry challenges and improve operational efficiency.

Background of the Renewal

The restaurant industry has been grappling with significant labor shortages, prompting an urgent need for streamlined operations. Concurrently, logistical challenges, fueled by the upcoming "2024 Problem"—a term referring to changes in delivery regulations—necessitate enhancements in delivery efficiency. Furthermore, the accelerated pace of e-commerce means that many businesses need to go digital with their order and transaction processes.

Amid these changing conditions, Hitomile Group is committed to creating a sales platform that integrates logistics, order processing, delivery, and payment collection. The focus is on substantially improving convenience while reducing the workload for sales teams. Through digital transformation (DX), the group aims to cut costs and solidify its revenue base.

Key Features of the Renewal

The revamped Kakuyasu Navi Online introduces several new features, including an enhanced quotation request functionality and a new delivery option that allows users to request the collection of used cooking oil during their orders—streamlining the ordering process significantly.

Notably, this service will now also extend to regions previously outside its service area, particularly the Kyushu region, which broadens its reach and support for restaurants. By lightening the operational burden on restaurants, Kakuyasu aims to improve processing speed and reduce the workload for its sales representatives, ultimately driving efficiency across operations.

Hitomile Group’s Commitment to Digital Transformation

In May 2025, Hitomile Group unveiled its mid-term management plan called "TRANSFORMATION PLAN 2028." This strategic initiative emphasizes creating a robust order, sales, and billing platform as part of its business restructuring efforts. Noteworthy aspects include enhancing profitability through a delivery service model that allows for the handling of orders from third-party suppliers. This renewal aligns with the group's overarching goal of establishing a foundation aimed at future marketplace initiatives.

The new design will facilitate the unified ordering and delivery of alcoholic beverages and related products, helping maximize existing logistical capabilities and expand the service offerings. Features designed to lighten the workload in the sales department are a significant part of this overhaul, all aimed at achieving greater efficiency and profitability through digital means.
