Crazy Raccoon Claims Victory at Brawl Stars World Championship 2025
The highly anticipated
Brawl Stars World Championship 2025, organized by game developer
Supercell, concluded in dramatic fashion from
November 28 to November 30 in
Stockholm, Sweden at the
DreamHack Stockholm venue. Among the competing teams, Japan’s
Crazy Raccoon emerged victorious, securing the title of World Champion. This win marks a historic achievement as it was the first time a team from the last chance qualifiers rose to claim the championship title, showcasing their tenacity and skill.
The
Brawl Stars Championship has evolved over the years, structured into five main regions plus two sub-regions, conducting monthly finals through a point-based system. The 2025 season kicked off in
February and spanned a six-month duration. The championship season included a staggering number of offline events, featuring a
BRAWL CUP, last chance qualifiers, and the world championship itself, marking it as the most extensive event in its history.
Each season consisted of several stages:
Championship Challenge,
Monthly Qualifiers, and
Monthly Finals. Over these six months, the top-performing teams, along with those emerging victorious in the last-chance qualifiers, competed fiercely for one of 16 slots at the grand finale, culminating in Crazy Raccoon's ultimate triumph. Not only did they represent their region in the last chance qualifiers, but they also snatched the coveted world title and a total prize money of
$400,000.
In addition to Crazy Raccoon, two other prominent Japanese teams,
ZETA DIVISION and
REJECT, participated in the championship, contributing to a lively atmosphere at the venue. The Crazy Raccoon roster included outstanding players
Tensai,
Moya, and
Milkreo, who showcased remarkable skill throughout the tournament.
Crazy Raccoon faced off against formidable competitors, having previously taken on elite teams like
STMN and
SK Gaming. In the finals, they once again squared off against
HMBLE, a team they had met in the last year's championship finals. With a commanding performance, Crazy Raccoon secured a decisive
3-0 victory, avenging their previous year’s defeat and cementing their status as world champions. Notably, this latest win marks the third world title for
Tensai when accounting for his previous achievements alongside different teams.
