With a comprehensive approach, they plan to refine the design and production of robotaxi models that are optimally tailored for autonomous functions while enhancing the user experience inside the vehicles.

This collaboration emphasizes establishing a solid framework conducive to large-scale robotaxi deployment. Together since 2024, Pony.ai and BAIC BJEV have successfully introduced the Arcfox Alpha T5 Robotaxi at the Shanghai Auto Show. With upwards of 600 units produced, these vehicles are now in active service in Beijing and Shenzhen, showcasing the swift advancement in autonomous vehicle technology. The Alpha T5 model is particularly noteworthy for its improved user experience, thanks to Pony.ai’s advanced technologies in virtual driving and world modeling.

Covering operations in various countries, including Luxembourg and Singapore, Pony.ai looks to broaden its reach by entering strategic markets like Europe and the Middle East with the Alpha T5 model.
