Lighthouse Week 2025: A Celebration of Coastal Culture
The much-anticipated Lighthouse Week, thanks to the collaboration of World Eggs, is set to take place from November 1 to November 8, 2025. This annual event not only highlights the significance of lighthouses but also brings forth their rich history and vibrant cultural values.
Introduction to Akarinomoribito Project
World Eggs Co., based in Minato, Tokyo, is spearheading the 'Akarinomoribito' project, a unique initiative that personifies lighthouses across Japan. By creating captivating stories surrounding these iconic structures, the project aims to foster an appreciation for their cultural significance and legacy.
Founded in 2020 by the Nippon Foundation and Japan Coast Guard, Lighthouse Week serves as a gateway to promote national awareness about the approximately 3,000 lighthouses scattered across the country. 1. Exhibiting the Journey of Lighthouse Parfaits
This year, the 'Traveling Lighthouse Parfait' exhibition, part of the Lighthouse Week festivities, is set to enthrall visitors. Held in collaboration with SIGNING Co. at the Social Issue Gallery SIGNAL, this exhibition will feature themed parfaits inspired by five distinct lighthouses:

- - Hiyori-yama Lighthouse (Otaru, Hokkaido)
- - Kannonzaki Lighthouse (Yokosuka, Kanagawa)

The special episode of 'Akarinomoribito Presents Lighthouse Radio' will leap out of the studio, welcoming guest Akira Hattori, known for portraying Kana Night in the 'Gensō Yawa' series. This engaging recording promises to be a highlight, with entry free after the purchase of a drink or parfait. Participants can enter through a lottery reservation system.
3. Premiering Gensō Yawa Drama Episodes
Every evening during Lighthouse Week, exclusive episodes of the 'Gensō Yawa' drama will premiere on the official YouTube channel of Akarinomoribito.
