“Revitalizing Local Economies through Wellness Hotels”
Speaker: Chairman of
Jogakura Kanko Co., Ltd., and Director of
Jikeikai Foundation
A native of Aomori City, Japan, the speaker has a global network of wellness leaders and has been instrumental in developing innovative wellness hotels. They will discuss the opening of the
Relabo Medical Spa & Stay in 2024, which aims to achieve the highest
WELL certification level.
Launch of Wellness Business Magazine
The
Wellness Business magazine will release its inaugural issue on
November 25, 2025, and it will be distributed to all symposium participants. The magazine includes a special feature on innovative hotel and retreat business designs and profiles five global wellness facilities driving market growth through recovery initiatives.
Case Presentations
At
2:40 PM, case examples will be introduced by the recipients of the
Wellness Champion Japan Special Award from the recent
World Wellness Weekend 2025. The event highlighted wellness experiences across
500 venues within Japan, involving over
200 ambassadors engaged in fostering wellness initiatives. Participants will have the chance to exchange ideas on promoting health-oriented urban development and regional revitalization strategies.
Award Ceremony

Wellness Champion Award Ceremony, celebrating outstanding contributions to wellness initiatives during the Japan segment of the
World Wellness Weekend held from September 19 to 21, 2025. Recognitions will include:
