Innovative Liquid-Cooled Energy Storage System STAR X Unveiled by CNTE at Intersolar Europe 2026
CNTE Unveils the STAR X Liquid-Cooled Energy Storage System at Intersolar Europe 2026
On June 23, 2026, at Intersolar Europe 2026 held in Munich, Germany, Contemporary Nebula Technology Energy (CNTE) introduced its cutting-edge liquid-cooled energy storage system, STAR X. This innovative technology promises to redefine large-scale energy storage solutions with its highly integrated architecture, intelligent operation, flexible deployment options, and enhanced safety performance.
The STAR X system is designed specifically for advanced commercial and utility-scale applications. It boasts an impressive capacity of 2800 kW and 5644 kWh, achieved through an integrated battery system and liquid-cooled power conditioning system (PCS) housed within a single cabinet. The fully internal DC wiring and factory pre-installation streamline the installation process, significantly enhancing safety and speeding up project timelines.
Powered by CNTE's third-generation high-capacity battery cells from CATL, rated at 530 Ah, STAR X is capable of exceeding 10,000 cycles at 70% state of health (SOH). It stands out in the industry as one of the first integrated energy storage solutions equipped with liquid cooling and 530 Ah battery packs.
One of the key features of STAR X is its intelligent cluster control technology, which allows for independent cluster management and fault isolation, maintaining system availability above 99%. By eliminating group imbalances and circulation losses, STAR X enhances the overall discharge capacity throughout its lifecycle by 6% and extends the system's lifespan by an additional 5%.
To cater to diverse project scenarios, STAR X offers flexible configurations ranging from 1 MW/2 MWh to 2.8 MW/5.6 MWh, with options for high-power mode or a four-hour duration mode. The efficient transport design ensures the system's weight remains below 45 tons, complying with international land and maritime transport regulations.
Ease of operation and maintenance is further simplified with one-click startup and shutdown, app-based commissioning, over-the-air updates, AI-driven fault diagnostics, intelligent lifespan predictions, and automatic state of charge (SOC) calibration, significantly reducing onsite maintenance complexity.
In terms of safety, STAR X features a comprehensive multi-level protection architecture that encompasses cell, module, cluster, and container levels, along with 24/7 online isolation monitoring to bolster operational reliability.
The STAR X system is designed to support applications like peak demand reduction, renewable energy integration, frequency regulation, microgrid support, and network formation assistance. This reflects CNTE's ongoing commitment to advancing global energy transition through innovative energy storage technologies.
