Tokyu Malls to Host Kid Staff Events Again This Summer
Last year, approximately 770 participants took part in the highly successful Kid Staff Events, aimed at elementary school students, organized by Tokyu Malls Development. The company, headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, is thrilled to announce that similar events will take place across 12 shopping centers during the summer vacation in 2025. The events align with the 2023 initiative "Tokyu Malls Development Sustainability Action," focusing on sustainability through commercial facility management and creating smiles among children.
Overview of Kid Staff Events
The Kid Staff Events will feature various job experiences that include not only roles at retail and dining establishments but also important functions like facility security, internal logistics, information provision, and jobs at Tokyu Railways’ seven stations. Partnerships with local libraries and post offices allow children to engage in community-rooted job experiences.
This year, a total of 216 slots will be available, accommodating 688 children. New for this year, those holding a "TOKYU CARD" or "TOKYU POINT CARD" will have double the chances of winning a spot in this popular event. Given the past year’s success and high demand, we anticipate an overwhelming number of applications again this year.
