In preparation for the competition, Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Ayman Al Mugharbil, who oversees both Syrian teams, shared that they analyzed past competitions to refine their techniques. Specialized training facilities were developed to replicate competition conditions, backed by an intensive three-month training program focusing on physical fitness and tactical scenarios.

Newcomers to the competition, like Cristian Fernández, the leader of Paraguay's team, praised the UAE SWAT Challenge as one of the most followed tactical competitions worldwide. Joffre Ortega, the leader of Ecuador's Team 2, spoke about the realistic reflections of actual police environments found in the challenges. He emphasized the need for precision, resilience, and teamwork while appreciating the opportunity to exchange insights and maintain operational readiness.

From the host country, First Lieutenant Yasser Al Zarouni of the Dubai Police SWAT Team remarked that the event extends beyond mere competition, acting as a global platform for knowledge exchange and cooperation that strengthens international partnerships in law enforcement.

U.S. team leader Sergeant James Coddington shared that his team's participation was inspired by the experiences gained from previous editions. His focus is on enhancing performance under pressure and refining tactical decision-making skills.

The UAE SWAT Challenge, organized by the Ministry of Interior and sponsored by the Dubai Police, consists of five realistic challenges spread over five days, with a total prize fund of $260,000 at stake.
