Curriculum Associates Honors Over 170 Schools for Academic Excellence in 2025

Curriculum Associates Recognizes Over 170 Schools for Growth in Academics

NORTH BILLERICA, Mass., Sept. 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ – Curriculum Associates has proudly named over 170 schools across the United States as 2025 i-Ready® Super Stretch Schools. This designation honors those educational institutions that have demonstrated remarkable progress in student performance in reading and mathematics. The recognition stems from analyses of i-Ready Diagnostic data collected during the 2024-2025 academic year, showcasing how these schools have excelled in fostering student growth and proficiency.

The concept of Stretch Growth revolves around setting ambitious yet achievable goals aimed at guiding students back toward grade-level competency. Research indicates that achieving these Stretch Growth milestones for two consecutive years significantly increases the likelihood of students reaching proficiency, despite their initial academic placements. For schools to qualify for the Super Stretch School recognition, they must have at least 200 enrolled students, with a minimum of 55% successfully attaining their Stretch Growth goals in reading or mathematics.

This initiative plays a vital role as students continue to recover academically from the interruptions caused by the pandemic. The success seen within these Super Stretch Schools serves as a testament to how a structured, data-driven approach to personalized instruction can effectively enhance learning outcomes, close educational gaps, and set all students on a path to success. Elizabeth Bassford, the Vice President of Content and Implementation at Curriculum Associates, stated, "Super Stretch Schools prove that when educators and students set ambitious goals with the right supports, students rise to the challenge." She emphasized the importance of these schools amidst the ongoing efforts to combat learning gaps brought on by the pandemic.

i-Ready is a comprehensive, award-winning program benefiting over 14 million students across the nation.
