Neolix Expands Its Autonomous Delivery Services Across Europe

In an era where last-mile delivery costs are soaring across Europe, the autonomous delivery company Neolix is stepping up to address the pressing challenges faced by retailers and logistics operators. With a proven track record in commercial operations, Neolix aims to support the increasing demand for efficient and reliable delivery solutions as labor shortages and heightened consumer expectations come to the forefront.

The Growing Challenge of Last-Mile Delivery

Since the delivery of goods over the last mile remains the most expensive and unpredictable segment of the logistics chain, Neolix’s expansion into Europe could not have come at a better time. With labor costs on the rise and timely deliveries becoming harder to guarantee, Neolix works to alleviate these challenges by offering state-of-the-art delivery solutions.

On June 24th, Will Zhao, Executive President of Neolix, participated in a panel discussion during the Global Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) Summit in Vienna. The summit gathered top executives from global fast-moving consumer goods companies to discuss the future of the goods industry, focusing on supply chain dynamics, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The same day, Neolix showcased its flagship product, the RoboVan, at EUROBIKE 2026 in Frankfurt, highlighting its commitment to innovative delivery methods.

According to Zhao, "By focusing on autonomous delivery in the last mile and the mid-mile, where most logistics costs for consumer goods accumulate, we optimize supply chain economics." Neolix leverages data from its vast operational network; any additional operational kilometer in real circumstances enhances its underlying AI system, thereby boosting operational performance and translating to greater efficiency, consistency, and resilience.

A Proven Fleet and Technological Edge

Neolix boasts one of the largest fleets of autonomous delivery vehicles in the world, having deployed a total of 21,000 vehicles across more than 15 countries, amassing over 170 million kilometers of autonomous driving experience. This exceptional operational scale sets the company apart as a leader in autonomous logistics.

Neolix’s vehicles are crafted to support logistics operations in both the last and mid-mile stages, enhancing customer efficiency and broadening service hours while simultaneously reducing delivery costs. The vehicles can operate around the clock and are engineered to function reliably under varying climatic and traffic conditions.

Adopting a unique approach, Neolix's autonomous driving system relies on a mapless architecture powered by its proprietary vision-action model, Neolix-VA. This framework enables quicker deployment in new operational environments and facilitates continuous improvement through real operational data.

Zhao emphasized that "the true value of autonomy comes down to economics and reliability." Retailers are in dire need of solutions capable of integrating seamlessly with their existing operations, adapting to local conditions while delivering quantifiable efficiency improvements over time.

Establishing a Sustainable European Presence

Neolix’s strategy for European expansion hinges on localization, regulatory compliance, and partnership development. The company has achieved TÜV Rheinland certification in Germany and European E-MARK approval, establishing a robust basis for operating within diverse European markets. In addition, Neolix has built partnerships across various countries, including Germany, Portugal, Denmark, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, and Belgium.

To facilitate compliance for its corporate clients, Neolix collaborates with global providers in cloud infrastructure to meet the data residency and governance needs of each market. Earlier this year, the company announced a strategic alliance with Caetano Mobility, part of the Salvador Caetano Group in Portugal, merging Neolix’s autonomous logistics capabilities with regional engineering expertise and mobility ecosystems.

Zhao remarked, "Europe has developed some of the most advanced passenger mobility systems in the world. We believe that the next opportunity lies in creating an equally intelligent infrastructure for freight transportation."

While discussions surrounding autonomous delivery have progressed from technical feasibility to now addressing implementation timelines, regulatory compliance, and unit economics, Neolix intends to harness its large-scale commercial experience to develop localized implementation programs with regional partners. The goal is to adapt operational models to local infrastructure and regulations while simultaneously building the operational capabilities necessary for large-scale rollouts.
