Odakyu Real Estate's New Logistics Center
Odakyu Real Estate Co., Ltd., based in Shibuya, Tokyo, has proudly announced the completion of its seventh logistics facility, which is also its first cold storage warehouse. The "Odakyu Real Estate Logistics Center Naruhama Cold Storage" is set to commence operations by March 2026, located in Naruhama, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s expansion strategy, emphasizing its commitment to developing advanced logistics capabilities across Japan.
Features of the New Facility
Strategically positioned approximately 1.1 kilometers from the "Naruhama" interchange on the Hanshin Expressway No. 5, this facility offers superior accessibility to both Osaka and Kobe. Its location makes it an ideal distribution hub for the Kansai region. In addition, the nearby "Naruhama Minami Daiichi" bus stop, accessible from Koshien Station and Koshienguchi Station, enhances convenience for employees and supports a robust workforce.
This facility boasts temperature-controlled zones that can be adjusted between -25°C and +5°C, with additional areas that can accommodate temperatures from +10°C to +25°C. The implementation of environmentally friendly refrigerants ensures energy-efficient operations, effectively reducing operational costs while minimizing environmental impact.
Recognizing the importance of sustainable construction, the facility has received an A rank from the Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency (CASBEE) and achieved a ZEB Ready rating from BELS (Building-Housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System). These certifications underline Odakyu's dedication to energy-efficient logistics solutions.

Currently, the facility houses Amako Transport Co., Ltd., headquartered in Amagasaki, Hyogo. This logistics company uses the facility as a warehouse hub, offering storage and distribution services alongside value-added processing.
