Notably, the acceleration is striking: users can experience a speed jump from 0 to 50 mph in just 5.5 seconds. This adrenaline-packed performance is powered by a tailored flat-wire motor that optimizes the bike's power density while ensuring effective thermal management.

To manage all this power, Segway has integrated a self-developed X720 Titan controller, providing instant torque responses without any lag when the throttle is twisted. "With the Xaber 300, we aimed to deliver an e-dirt bike that exceeds expectations in off-road capabilities relative to its price point," said Nick Howe, the head of e-bike at Segway. Equipped with four-piston hydraulic brakes, the Xaber 300 ensures reliable stopping power with 220 mm rotors on both wheels. The bike sports 220 mm of suspension travel both front and rear, utilizing a specialized Marzocchi inverted fork and a robust rear shock for a smoother ride across various terrains. Both components offer fully adjustable settings for compression, rebound, and preload, allowing riders to fine-tune their experience.

Inspired by Segway’s prototype for the Dakar Rally, the Xaber 300 features a high-pressure forged aluminum frame that merges lightweight design with exceptional torsional stiffness. This balance of strength and agility is crucial for handling demanding off-road conditions.

Intelligent Riding Experience

Far beyond just raw power, the Xaber 300 incorporates multiple advanced technologies that Segway is recognized for. For more seasoned riders, a virtual Electronic Clutch mimics classic clutch engagements, enhancing the riding experience.
