Kia America's Record-Breaking November Sales Highlight Continued Growth in 2025

Kia America's Exciting November Sales Performance

Kia America recently reported its most successful November sales to date, with a remarkable total of 72,002 vehicles sold. This impressive figure represents a 3% increase compared to last year, demonstrating the brand's robust growth trajectory as it approaches its third consecutive record-breaking annual sales.

The total units sold by Kia in 2025 have now reached 777,152, marking a significant 7% year-over-year growth. This surge in sales underscores the increasing popularity and demand for Kia's extensive lineup of vehicles. Models such as the Carnival, Sportage, and Seltos have each achieved record-breaking sales for the month of November.

Five models—K5, Carnival, Sportage, Telluride, and Sorento—showcased particularly notable year-to-date sales increases. The Carnival hospital has seen an impressive 49% growth this November, along with the Seltos, which reported a 23% increase, indicating a strong consumer preference for these versatile models. Additionally, Kia's electrified vehicles have experienced a 25% boost in sales, showcasing the brand's commitment to advancing its hybrid and electric offerings.

Eric Watson, Vice President of Sales Operations at Kia America, commented on the achievements, emphasizing that Kia's varied product lineup and expanding hybrid options have positioned the brand well for continued success. “As consumer demand shifts, Kia's diverse product lineup and growing hybrid portfolio has us on the verge of our third consecutive annual sales record,” Watson stated. This statement not only reflects Kia's adaptability in a rapidly changing automotive market but also highlights its proactive approach to meeting customer needs.

The excitement surrounding Kia's growing popularity was further fueled by the recent unveiling of the next-generation Telluride SUV at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show. This new model is set to feature a more luxurious design, enhanced off-road capabilities, and the availability of a new hybrid variant. The Telluride will come standard with a turbocharged powertrain and will introduce an exciting turbocharged hybrid option with an estimated 329 horsepower, offering competitive fuel efficiency with a rating of up to 35 MPG combined.

Moreover, Kia is also investing in the future of electric vehicles. Their joint venture, IONNA, will establish a nationwide electric vehicle charging network with a planned investment of over $250 million in California alone over the next three years. This initiative reflects Kia's commitment to expanding their electric vehicle infrastructure and enhancing customer convenience in eco-friendly driving.

In safety news, the 2026 Sportage SUV recently received the prestigious TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating from the U.S. Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, marking it as one of the safest vehicles in its category. This accolade further solidifies Kia's reputation for manufacturing high-quality vehicles that prioritize driver and passenger safety.

Overall, Kia's major milestones in November not only signify the brand's remarkable sales achievements but also highlight its dedication to innovation, safety, and sustainability within the automotive industry. As we move forward into 2025, all eyes will be on Kia as it continues to set new standards in auto sales and customer satisfaction across the United States.
