Huawei Launches Global Education and Healthcare Partner Alliance
Huawei recently hosted the 2025 Global Education and Healthcare Partner China Convention in Shenzhen, China, welcoming over 300 partner guests from 40 different countries. This significant event saw the unveiling of the Global Education and Healthcare Partner Alliance (GEHPA), which aims to strengthen communication among industry partners, leverage their mutual strengths, and foster win-win collaboration. Ultimately, these efforts are geared towards creating a high-quality, sustainable ecosystem in both education and healthcare sectors.
The GEHPA initiative is particularly important as the education and healthcare sectors are being profoundly impacted by the rapid advancement of AI technologies and applications. Ernest Zhang, who serves as the Chairman of Partner Development and Commercial Distribution Business Department at Huawei Enterprise Sales Department, emphasized Huawei's commitment to fully support its partners with enhanced capabilities, collaborative innovation, and an impeccable partnership experience. The overarching goal is to ensure that more partners can thrive through these collaborations, thereby serving hundreds of thousands of global customers in education and healthcare, and contributing to a brighter future in these sectors in the AI era.
Li Junfeng, Huawei’s Vice President and CEO of the Global Public Sector BU, stated that the fields of education and healthcare are at the forefront of global digital and intelligent transformation. He conveyed Huawei's eagerness to collaborate with partners to establish a friendly, win-win, and sustainable global partner ecosystem. Peter Zhou, Vice President of Huawei and Chairman of the Data Storage Product Line, pointed out that the vast accumulation of high-quality data in the healthcare sector is crucial for leading AI implementation in the industry. He proposed four initiatives aimed at promoting standardized data management in healthcare. These include the establishment of shared intelligent infrastructures for diagnostic and treatment data which connect departments and multiple hospital campuses, facilitating tool-based standardization in data and model engineering development, and accelerating the creation and application of robust AI business models for diagnostics and treatments to foster a positive feedback loop.
Looking ahead, Huawei plans to bolster global partnerships, consistently innovate, and apply new technologies in both education and healthcare to meet the evolving needs of the market. In conjunction with these efforts, Huawei is dedicated to promoting the quality development of the GEHPA, contributing to the sustainable growth of education and healthcare worldwide. This ambitious alliance underscores Huawei's commitment to shaping the future of these vital sectors amidst the challenges and opportunities presented by AI advancements.
