Humanoid Robotics Industry Chain Matchmaking at CISCE 2025
The Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Chain Matchmaking Conference took place during the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing, emphasizing the synergy of cutting-edge innovations and improving quality-driven new productive forces. This event, held on July 25, 2025, attracted over 400 participants, including ambassadors, experts, business leaders, and financial executives, showcasing the province's strengths in humanoid robotics and encouraging global collaboration across the industry.
Yu Jianlong, Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), underscored the strategic positioning of Hubei, its rich scientific and technological resources, and its innovation ecosystem. He highlighted the province's rapid advancements in humanoid robotics, which encompass intelligent manufacturing, research and development on core components, practical application scenarios, and ecosystem development.
“This year, at CISCE, Hubei launched an exhibition area dedicated to humanoid robotics, showcasing 22 companies with over 80 exhibits, including 20 fully integrated humanoid robots. This exemplifies Hubei's comprehensive robotics industry ecosystem,” said Yu. He also noted the CCPIT's commitment to enhancing its service networks and global partnerships to establish Hubei as a premier brand in the humanoid robotics sector.
Hu Zhonghai, Director of CCPIT Hubei, named humanoid robotics as a critical driver of technological innovation and industrial modernization. He emphasized Hubei's geographical, industrial, and political advantages, noting the presence of 325 Fortune Global 500 companies in the region. Zhonghai provided a roadmap for the robotics industry with clear milestones set for one, three, and five years ahead.
Zhao Xingwei, the legal representative of JCBot and a professor at HUST, shared that JCBot has successfully industrialized its technologies, supported by academic collaborations. Their products serve more than ten fields, including industrial production, tourism, firefighting, and storage. Zhao committed to advancing research and development for higher-value applications and industrial upgrades.
At the product launch, Lou Kaiqi, Deputy General Manager of Hubei Optics Valley Dongzhi Embodied Intelligence Technology Co. Ltd., introduced their new humanoid robot. Already operational in various sectors such as exhibition guiding, retail, hospitality, and performances, the robot is set to expand its applications into public services, industrial operations, elder care, and more.
During the matchmaking event, the Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Alliance signed strategic agreements with three partners: the Zhejiang Robot Industry Association, the Humanoid Robotics Innovation Center, and the Zhongguancun Rongzhi Specialized Robotics Alliance. This collaboration aims to strengthen research and development, market expansion, and talent exchange, building a more robust robotics ecosystem through resource sharing and complementary strengths.
