Experience the Amazing STEAM Summer Camp 2025
Get ready for an incredible summer adventure at Laurus International School’s STEAM Summer Camp for preschoolers, taking place from July 21 to July 25, 2025! This event is designed for children aged 1.5 to 6 years old, providing them with an opportunity to engage in a unique blend of English and STEAM education.
What is STEAM Education?
STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. It is an innovative educational approach that emphasizes more than just learning facts. The focus is on encouraging kids to think critically, create, and present their ideas, fostering essential skills like creativity and problem-solving. Laurus International School of Science stands out as one of Japan's leading science-oriented international schools, firmly committed to implementing a STEAM-centric curriculum.
The annual STEAM Summer Camp is a highly sought-after event, often reaching its attendance limit. This summer, children will delve into the theme of "SAVANNA ADVENTURE," where they will explore the savanna world through engaging activities such as crafts, experiments, and music, all in English.
During this special week, children will be immersed in multi-sensory experiences that promote expressive skills and build confidence as they learn and make new friends. A carefully structured itinerary ensures that activities cater to different age groups, with separate sessions for preschoolers (1.5 to 3 years) and kindergartners (3 to 6 years).

Cultural Experiences

This NPO focuses on showcasing Africa's rich culture and arts to Japanese children through music, dance, art, and more. Kids will have the chance to experience traditional African instruments, try on colorful costumes, and engage in vibrant Tinga Tinga painting projects—offering a hands-on educational experience that bridges classroom learning with real-world cultural immersion. Each school will hold at least one of these workshops, adding an element of surprise as to when they will take place during the camp!
