Remarkable Results from the Farm Progress Show Auction
The recent Farm Progress Show Auction, hosted by BigIron and Sullivan Auctioneers, has set a new standard in the auctioning world. This year, a total of 513 bidders registered, with 89 successful buyers and about 2,000 viewers tuning in to watch the event unfold. Representing 49 states, this auction proved that the agricultural enthusiasm knows no boundaries. A remarkable 96 lots were sold during the event, with a total of 6,093 bids made, averaging out to about 62 bids per lot.
Supporting a Greater Cause
In addition to showcasing exceptional tractors and collector trucks, some of the auction lots were dedicated to supporting Farm Rescue, a nonprofit organization focused on helping farmers facing challenges due to illness or natural disasters. Their mission to assist farm families resonated strongly with the attendees, leading to notable donations like:

1976 John Deere 4230 2WD tractor stood out, donated by Dan and Kacey Sullivan. With just 2,944 hours of use, this tractor included features such as a Quad Range transmission, Sound-Gard cab, and American original paint. It fetched an impressive
$31,750. Dan Sullivan highlighted the honor in donating the iconic tractor, noting, "What started as one donation quickly inspired others, turning it into something truly meaningful."
