On September 20th and 21st, 2025, the 57th MuAtsu Cup Women's Amateur Shogi Championship took place under the auspices of the Japan Shogi Federation and special sponsorship from Showa Nishikawa Co., Ltd. This prestigious event gathered 100 female amateur players from all corners of Japan, from Hokkaido in the north to Fukuoka in the south, each ready to showcase their skills and hard work.
