JPI Seminar on Latest Developments in Hydrogen and Ammonia Combustion



On October 22, 2025, JPI (Japan Planning Institute) will host a pivotal seminar featuring Daisuke Omatsu, Chief of the Combustion Technology Development Department at Chugai Ro Co., Ltd. The focus of this seminar will be on the advancements in hydrogen and ammonia combustion technologies for industrial furnaces, as well as the challenges associated with their societal implementation.

Importance of Carbon Neutrality


The significance of reducing CO₂ emissions from industrial furnaces cannot be overstated. Currently, they account for approximately 14.5% of the total CO₂ emissions in Japan. With the nation aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050, it is crucial to pursue decarbonization initiatives in the industrial furnace sector. Omatsu will provide insights into the efforts currently underway at Chugai Ro Co. to transition to cleaner combustion technologies.

  • - Group Rate (2 or more from the same organization): ¥32,200 each
  • - Special Rate for Local Government Employees: ¥11,000 (up to 2 participants, for in-person or live streaming only)
