Hyundai Mobis Demonstrates Advanced Mobility Solutions at IAA Mobility 2025

Hyundai Mobis Brings Cutting-Edge Mobility Technologies to IAA Mobility 2025

Hyundai Mobis, a prominent player in the automotive supply industry, is set to make a significant impact at the IAA Mobility 2025, occurring in Munich, Germany. This marks the third consecutive year the company has participated in Europe's premier mobility exhibition, aiming to strengthen its foothold in the European market by showcasing its innovative electrification solutions and advanced technologies.

With the overarching theme of "Deeper Look to Progress," Hyundai Mobis plans to highlight over 20 revolutionary products that align with the evolving demands of global automakers. The company aims to illustrate its commitment to technological advancement and to strengthen its competitiveness in the European market, having achieved an impressive 30% growth in sales since its inaugural appearance at the event in 2021.

Exhibition Highlights

Hyundai Mobis is strategically divided its exhibit into public and private areas to cater to different audiences. The public section features Kia’s flagship electric vehicle, the EV9, showcasing the company’s state-of-the-art Holographic Windshield Display (HWD). This innovative technology transforms the windshield into a dynamic display, providing essential information such as navigation and music playlists, thus enhancing the driving experience. Collaboratively developed with ZEISS, this feature is anticipated to enter mass production by 2029.

In the private booth area, Hyundai Mobis aims to deliver a premium experience tailored to major global automakers. The focus will be on presenting customized solutions that highlight the company's core technological advancements in three primary categories: eco-friendly electrification, integrated control solutions, and visual-linked innovation technologies.

This approach is designed to foster direct interactions with potential customers, enabling Hyundai Mobis to convert technological showcases into actual orders. Central to this initiative is the company’s comprehensive software-defined vehicle (SDV) solution, which integrates both software platforms and hardware products to meet increasing demand in Europe. This includes advanced features for autonomous driving systems, security enhancements, and seamless system connectivity.

Pioneering Electrification and Display Technologies

Hyundai Mobis will also draw attention to its diverse portfolio of battery systems, including electric vehicle battery systems (EV BSA), hybrid battery systems (HEV BSA), and plug-in hybrid systems (PHEV BSA). Furthermore, innovations like the EDU 3-in-1, which combines the drive motor, inverter, and reducer into a single unit, will be featured prominently. This compact integration demonstrates the company's commitment to efficiency and performance in electrification technology.

Additionally, display and lamp innovations such as the M.VICS 6.0, which represents the next generation of digital cockpits, will be on display. This enhanced version includes a cutting-edge infotainment platform and unique features like a slideable display that smoothly adjusts for user convenience.

Networking with Industry Leaders

Hyundai Mobis intends to leverage its presence at IAA Mobility 2025 by engaging with leading automakers such as Volkswagen, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. The goal is to highlight its competitive advantages in technology and production capabilities while exploring potential partnerships for future developments. This strategy has proven effective, as evidenced by Hyundai Mobis’ increasing sales in Europe, which surpassed 8 trillion won last year compared to 5 trillion won in 2021.

A media session will take place on September 9, the opening day of the exhibition, where Axel Maschka, Head of Sales and Executive Vice President at Hyundai Mobis, will provide insights on automotive trends and the company’s leading technologies, further underscoring its influence within the global auto industry.
