Hexagon Agility's Inaugural Order for Mobile Pipeline® in Jordan
In an exciting development for the energy sector, Hexagon Agility, part of Hexagon Composites, has achieved a milestone with its first-ever order for Mobile Pipeline® modules, destined for
Watani, Jordan's National Advanced Natural Gas Company. This order reflects a significant investment in Jordan's energy infrastructure, with a value of approximately
USD 6.9 million (around NOK 70 million).
The Mobile Pipeline® ADR X-Store 45ft modules are designed to facilitate the safe and efficient transportation of
compressed natural gas (CNG). This move aligns with Jordan's national energy strategy, promoting cleaner energy solutions that mitigate reliance on traditional fossil fuels. Khalil Abu Al-Rubb, Chairman of Jordan LNG and a joint owner of Watani, expressed pride in collaborating with Hexagon Agility to advance the delivery of reliable and sustainable energy across Jordan.
“The Mobile Pipeline® solution is a natural fit for our ambitions because it offers the flexibility, safety, and efficiency we need to reach industrial zones and remote communities alike,” said Abu Al-Rubb.
Watani was established to align with Jordan's strategic vision of achieving a more sustainable energy mix and reducing dependence on imported energy. Over the years, the company has worked diligently to realize this vision, reflecting the country’s commitment to advancing sustainable and clean energy solutions while harnessing domestic resources to support its economy.
Khaled Al-Zoubi, General Manager of Watani, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating that this venture is a strategic leap toward a more sustainable energy future for Jordan. He highlighted the necessity of establishing the required infrastructure to deliver clean energy efficiently to consumers throughout the nation.
“With Hexagon Agility, we have a strong supplier to establish the required infrastructure to deliver this energy to our customers,” Al-Zoubi noted.
Eric Bippus, Chief Commercial Officer at Hexagon Agility, articulated the company's commitment to delivering innovative Mobile Pipeline® solutions to key regional players like Watani. As demand for improved energy solutions rises throughout emerging markets, especially in the Middle East, Hexagon Agility remains dedicated to unlocking the potential for regional energy production and pushing towards a global energy transformation.
