Subaru of America Reports Growth in February Sales

Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) has announced an impressive increase in vehicle sales for February 2025, reporting a total of 49,125 sales, which reflects a 4.1% rise compared to February 2024's figures of 47,189 units sold. This notable growth is particularly significant as it marks the 31st consecutive month of month-over-month increases in sales, underscoring the strength of Subaru's market presence and consumer demand for their vehicles.

Key Performers

Among the stars of the month, the Forester has retained its title as the top-selling model for Subaru, with 14,347 units sold in February. Close on its heels is the Crosstrek, which reported 12,818 sales. The Outback also showed robust performance with 11,601 vehicles sold, indicating strong consumer preference across Subaru's diverse lineup.

Interestingly, Subaru's Solterra, the fully electric vehicle in their range, achieved its best February sales ever, with a staggering 187% increase over the previous year. This surge reflects the growing consumer interest in electric vehicles and Subaru's commitment to expanding their eco-friendly options.

Jeff Walters, President and COO of Subaru of America, stated, "The ongoing growth in our sales illustrates how well our retailers meet customer needs, combining the safety and reliability of Subaru vehicles with their commitment to integrity and service. Our recent introduction of new hybrid variants of the Forester and Crosstrek further enhances our lineup, allowing us to cater effectively to customer preferences."
