This year, from October 24 to 26, the event is anticipated to attract over 160,000 visitors, surpassing last year's record number of 161,000. This three-day festival is poised to highlight the vibrant cosplay culture while fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and fun.

A main feature this year will be the
Niconico Cosplay Creation, allowing participants to showcase their excellent costumes on the main stage at Nakai Ikebukuro Park. Also, the
Ikebukuro Cosplay Parade will feature around 400 costume-clad attendees parading through the streets, temporarily turning them into pedestrian zones for an unforgettable spectacle.

Opening night on October 24 will feature
Ikebukuro Night, where attendees can participate in unique activities that differ from daytime events. From scenic photo sessions to special interactions among cosplayers, this evening celebration highlights the magical ambiance of the city at night.
