Launching Operations
The initial rollouts are set to occur in key regions including Asia and the Middle East later this year. Users requesting rides on Uber may soon have the choice to travel in a fully autonomous vehicle from Baidu’s Apollo Go fleet. The Apollo Go service, recognized as a pioneer in providing fully driverless ride-hailing options, already operates over 1,000 autonomous vehicles across 15 major cities, such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi. With over 11 million rides delivered to date, Apollo Go is gaining unprecedented traction and steadily expanding its operational footprint.
