According to data from Ticombo, a leading global ticket marketplace, interested fans are actively searching for available tickets, pushing the average ticket price to around $877.
As excitement builds, the tournament set to kick off on June 11 in Mexico City has attracted considerable attention, with serious implications for ticket availability and pricing. Peter Savovsky, Chief Operating Officer at Ticombo, noted that the perception that all World Cup tickets are either sold out or exorbitantly priced is misleading. "There are still great options available," he asserts, highlighting that the tournament consists of 104 matches spread over 16 cities, leading to varying levels of availability.

The shift in ticket prices has been remarkable as the tournament enters its final phase. For example, category one tickets for the final match at MetLife Stadium have skyrocketed to $10,990, a drastic 72% hike from the initial listing of $6,370 set back in October 2025. Moreover, new pricing tiers introduced for
