Transition in Leadership at tesa SE
In a significant change within its executive ranks, tesa SE has appointed Dr. Kourosh Bahrami as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2025. Dr. Bahrami brings over three decades of international leadership experience to his new position. His most recent role was leading the LOCTITE industrial adhesive business at Henkel, where he demonstrated his expertise in sales, marketing, and supply chain management. His background also includes deep insights into crucial markets such as automotive, industrial maintenance, and the burgeoning field of Industry 4.0 applications.
The Supervisory Board of tesa SE expressed confidence in Dr. Bahrami's capacity to lead further growth. Arunjai Mittal, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, remarked, "Dr. Bahrami’s extensive experience in adhesive technologies alongside his strategic capabilities will be invaluable in continuing to advance tesa’s position in the market. His track record of inspiring leadership and ability to forge empowered teams will serve the company well as we move forward."
Dr. Bahrami, who has lived and worked across Europe, the United States, and Asia, holds an MBA and is committed to building upon the solid foundation established by his predecessor. "tesa has a long-established reputation as a leader in technology and innovation within the adhesive solutions sector. I'm looking forward to working closely with my colleagues on the Board, the entire tesa team, and our partners to create significant added value for our customers and to lead tesa into its next chapter of sustainable growth," Dr. Bahrami stated upon his appointment.
Dr. Goldberg's tenure at tesa has seen the company thrive, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and digitalization, thereby significantly strengthening its market position. He noted, "Leading tesa in recent years has been a true privilege. Alongside a dedicated global team, we have accelerated innovation and solidified our global footprint, positioning the company for a future that is both innovative and sustainable. I am proud of what we have accomplished and wish Kourosh all the best in his leadership journey."
Mittal also extended gratitude to Dr. Goldberg for his transformative contributions, indicating that under his guidance, tesa has grown profitably and solidified its status as a technological leader.
