Her leadership was recognized by Hyatt Hotels Corporation, which awarded her the Franchise Leadership Team of the Year for Full-Service in North America. Moreover, she was honored as one of the "25 People of Influence" by the Spokane Journal of Business, a testament to her respected stature in the industry.

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Food & Beverage Management from Johnson & Wales University, which has equipped her with a solid foundation in hospitality management principles.
