With a clear trend shifting towards fully electric and hybrid models, companies like JETOUR are innovating vigorously to meet consumer needs and market demands.
On December 20, 2024, JETOUR announced the upcoming release of the T2 i-DM, a sophisticated hybrid vehicle designed for international markets based on its successful T2 model. This new hybrid showcases an array of features that promise consumers a thrilling driving experience while maintaining high standards of environmental protection.
Cutting-Edge Hybrid Technology
The T2 i-DM is the first hybrid offering from JETOUR targeted at foreign markets, equipped with its proprietary i-DM (Intelligent Dual Mode) technology, which enables seamless switching between operational modes. This innovation brings together energy efficiency, dynamic performance, and enhanced safety, all crucial for day-to-day driving scenarios. JETOUR anticipates that this vehicle will set a new worldwide trend in travel.
One of the standout features of the T2 i-DM is its powerful fifth-generation 1.5TGDI hybrid engine, which integrates six core technologies, including the remarkable Deep Miller Cycle and the fourth-generation intelligent and efficient combustion system, i-HEC. This advanced engine boasts one of the highest thermal efficiencies on the market at a staggering 44.5%. With a maximum power output of 115 kW and a torque of 220 Nm, the T2 i-DM delivers robust performance suitable for various driving conditions.
Additionally, its dedicated hybrid 3-speed transmission DHT optimizes both performance and fuel economy through a unique dual-motor structure, offering nine driving modes to navigate any scenario effortlessly. With these technological advancements, the T2 i-DM promises a combined system peak power of 280 kW and a maximum combined torque of 610 Nm, significantly enhancing off-road exploration capabilities.
Exceptional Battery Life and Versatility
The high-end version of the T2 i-DM will feature a substantial 26.7 kWh hybrid battery designed for durability. This battery includes several protective features such as impact resistance, water ingress prevention, charging safeguards, and high-voltage protection. The T2 i-DM allows for an impressive all-electric range of 139 km and a total driving distance exceeding 1000 km, making it both practical and convenient with a remarkable fuel consumption rate of just 0.8 liters per 100 km.
Moreover, the T2 i-DM incorporates an external 3.3 kW power supply function, enabling users to support household and kitchen appliances directly from the vehicle. The built-in climate control system adds even more convenience, capable of running without the engine, which enhances the energy management of the vehicle.
Scheduled for release on December 25 in Qatar, the T2 i-DM is expected to build upon the success of the T2 line, which has already seen strong sales in countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Qatar. Given the popularity of the T2 and the innovative features of the i-DM technology, the market anticipates an exhilarating performance from the T2 i-DM that is aimed at revolutionizing the hybrid vehicle landscape.
