Bullseye Event Group and FRN Give Back with 3,400 Pounds of Donated Food

Bullseye Event Group Partners with Food Recovery Network for Donation

Santa Clara, CA - In a generous move following the recent Super Bowl Sunday festivities, Bullseye Event Group has teamed up with the Food Recovery Network (FRN) to donate an impressive 3,407 pounds of leftover food. This food, which comes from their popular Players Tailgate event, will be shared with local organizations Loaves and Fishes and Hunger at Home in Santa Clara, helping to provide over 2,839 meals to individuals and families in need.

This initiative marks the sixth consecutive year that Bullseye Event Group has made an effort to give back after their large-scale tailgate events. Previous donations have included efforts in cities such as New Orleans, Las Vegas, Glendale, Los Angeles, and Miami, accumulating over 19,400 pounds of food and providing more than 15,800 meals to local communities. The company's commitment to sustainability and community support demonstrates their belief that their events should leave a lasting, positive impact.

Kyle Kinnett, CEO of Bullseye Event Group, stated, "We have been fortunate to bring the Players Tailgate to several communities across the country and we've always believed that these large-scale events should leave a strong, positive impact. We are excited about the work we've done with the Food Recovery Network this year and in previous years to redirect excess food and ensure it goes to families that need it, instead of ending up as waste."

Regina Harmon, CEO of Food Recovery Network, praised the efforts of Bullseye Event Group, saying, "For six years, Bullseye Event Group has set a standard for how large-scale events can be a force for good through the Players Tailgate. By prioritizing food recovery year after year, Bullseye is showing what's possible when sustainability and community impact are built into event planning from the start. Their ongoing commitment ensures that excess food reaches families who need it most rather than going to waste, creating a far-reaching impact that extends beyond a single Super Bowl weekend."

This year, the food recovery efforts benefited from the involvement of enthusiastic volunteers, including students from the University of San Francisco and alumni from both Cal Poly and San Francisco State University. Their hard work and dedication helped make sure the food recovery operations ran smoothly and efficiently.

In tandem with the food recovery efforts, Players Tailgate sponsor Solo Stove organized an engaging initiative called "Squash the Beef," where fans were invited to share their grievances live at the event or online. The company pledged a $2,500 donation to both Seattle Food Lifeline and The Greater Boston Food Bank, amounting to a total of $5,000 dedicated to tackling food insecurity in the communities associated with the Super Bowl teams.

As the excitement of this year's Big Game fades, fans are already encouraged to start planning for the next Super Bowl in Los Angeles in 2027. More information about upcoming events can be found on Bullseye Event Group's website.
