Expanding Local Discount Campaign in Shibuya
Kome Sankaku, located in Toyosu's bustling food theme park, has announced the seventh phase of its popular local discount campaign. This initiative, which has previously included districts such as Koto, Chuo, Minato, Chiyoda, Shinagawa, and Taito, will now also encompass Shibuya—one of Tokyo's most vibrant cultural hubs.
Known for its dynamic atmosphere filled with IT companies and startups, Shibuya continually fosters new cultural waves, making it a perfect complement to Kome Sankaku's offerings. With this expansion, the restaurant aims to bridge local cuisine with the energy of the youth culture prevalent in Shibuya, and introduce more people to the rich culinary experiences available in Toyosu.
Beginning February 1, residents and workers from Shibuya, as well as the previously included areas, can enjoy a remarkable 50% discount on selected drinks. To qualify, customers need to dine in with local identification or a business card, allowing groups of up to ten to benefit from this generous offer.
This campaign not only encourages locals to enjoy the unique culinary delights of Toyosu but also fosters a sense of community and appreciation for those who support the restaurant. Kome Sankaku’s philosophy is clear: everyone wins. The restaurant strives to maintain affordable prices while simultaneously providing increased benefits for local patrons, ensuring that the quality of experience remains high without alienating any customers.
A Culinary Experience Like No Other
The cafe takes pride in its exceptional seafood sourced directly from the Toyosu Market. Offering a Google Maps rating of 4.5, Kome Sankaku is a favorite for those looking for quality culinary experiences. The menu features a variety of sake and craft beverages paired with fresh seafood, creating a dining experience that extends beyond just a meal.
Among the highlights of the campaign is their extensive range of drinks, including premium sake usually priced at ¥660, now available for just ¥330. Similarly, their fresh lemon sour is reduced from ¥540 to ¥270, while the renowned authentic shochu, Torikai, is offered at a fantastic price of ¥330 instead of the usual ¥660.
The evolving menu also introduces new dishes such as freshly fried tempura, specifically crafted to match the theme of umami, fermentation, and aging, enhancing the dining experience further.
A Message from Store Manager Suzuki
In light of this exciting expansion into Shibuya, store manager Suzuki expressed the enthusiastic anticipation of welcoming the Shibuya community. He noted that the area’s lively atmosphere is a mere train ride away, and once there, guests can escape the city's hustle and bustle to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere while indulging in market-fresh gourmet food.
As Valentine’s Day approaches, Kome Sankaku encourages couples and friends to come together and celebrate this season of love with exquisite seafood and sake pairings. The restaurant aims to create a unique experience that stands out, even for those who might not typically enjoy sake; customers often leave feeling transformed and inspired after trying the carefully curated offerings.
Building Culinary Bridges
Kome Sankaku's commitment to bridging the appreciation of traditional Japanese food culture and the modern culinary scene is reflected in their offerings. The local discount campaign serves as a means to connect people with the wonderful tastes of Toyosu while promoting a philosophy of inclusivity and value for local patrons.
Kome Sankaku continues to advocate for the joys of food, hoping to extend their reach throughout all 23 wards of Tokyo, further enriching the city’s culinary landscape and establishing lasting connections between its diverse communities.
