The CDP, an international non-profit organization, manages a global disclosure system for environmental information utilized by companies, cities, states, and regions. ZTE scored an impressive A across various categories, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, emission reduction initiatives, low-carbon products, environmental policies, and risk opportunities disclosures. The recognition emphasizes the company’s dedication to effective climate strategies and its competitive edge in green development.

In 2024, ZTE implemented multifaceted initiatives to significantly reduce its carbon footprint. The company's efforts led to a staggering savings of 45 million kWh in electricity, while also achieving a 13.4% year-on-year decrease in greenhouse gas emissions for Scope 1 and 2. Additionally, ZTE's innovative Carbon Visibility App covers 83% of major carbon emissions categories and data, setting a benchmark for corporate sustainability.

ZTE's green operational strategies extend into its supply chain. Utilizing the SMART model, ZTE provides comprehensive guidance to suppliers on carbon emission reductions.
