A Major Leap in Care Management
In a significant development for the care management industry, CDI Inc., led by President Kunimasa Hamaoka, headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, has launched a major upgrade of their AI-driven care management support tool, SOIN. This revitalization now includes comprehensive functionalities for generating forms from 1 to 5, which are essential for care planning and management.
ODI’s SOIN tool now fully supports the creation of the third form (Weekly Service Plan) and the fifth form (Home Care Support Progress), in addition to previously available forms 1, 2, and 4. This advancement streamlines the documentation process, allowing care managers to efficiently create all major forms within the SOIN system in one unified platform.
New Features Overview
1. Automated Weekly Service Plan Creation
SOIN now offers an automated feature to create the Weekly Service Plan (form 3) based on the service plan developed within the system. This breakthrough means care managers no longer need to manually transfer data, as the software now automatically reflects service content and frequency. The weekly plan can be easily modified in real-time, and it can also be exported as a PDF for printing.
2. Effortless Progress Reporting
For the Home Care Support Progress (form 5), care managers can simply upload voice recordings from monthly visits with clients, and SOIN will autonomously generate the progress report. This AI-driven feature delivers detailed summaries including overviews, client family expectations, satisfaction levels, and more. Moreover, all generated records are stored within SOIN for easy future reference.
3. Automated Assessment Items from Audio
SOIN further enhances productivity by automatically transferring assessment items from recorded voice data during intake or initial assessments. This allows the AI to extract and input relevant details directly into the form, minimizing workload for care managers.
4. AI-Driven Challenge Suggestions
With the introduction of an AI-powered feature, SOIN can suggest personalized issues and needs based on the entered assessment data, leveraging a vast database of over 470,000 anonymized caregiving criteria. This assists care managers in recognizing individual client requirements, facilitating a more tailored approach to care planning.
5. Meeting Minutes Creation for Agencies
SOIN now allows for the creation of meeting minutes tailored to the needs of home care support agencies. Utilizing AI-driven voice recognition and summarization, agencies can easily document meetings regarding infection prevention, abuse prevention, and risk management, ensuring all necessary requirements are met.
Enhancing Efficiency and Quality
These upgrades not only boost the efficiency of assessment, challenge identification, and document creation, but they also enable care managers to devote more time to meaningful interactions with clients and interdisciplinary collaboration. The release of these features positions SOIN as an essential tool for modern care management, promoting a higher quality of care and efficiency within the sector.
Commitment to Innovation
CDI remains committed to harnessing AI to elevate the standards of care management further. By focusing on continuous feature enhancements, the company aims to address the evolving challenges within the caregiving industry.
