Paralyzed Veterans of America Executive Committee Election

On July 1, 2025, the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) announced the results of its Executive Committee elections for the fiscal year 2026. This event took place during the organization's 79th Annual Convention held in Austin, TX. Leading the organization will be U.S. Army veteran Robert Thomas, who has been re-elected as the national president for the third consecutive term.

A Leader’s Commitment

With deep gratitude and a strong sense of duty, Robert Thomas expressed his enthusiasm for continuing in this vital role. He emphasized his commitment to advocating for the rights and well-being of veterans who suffer from spinal cord injuries, along with those afflicted by diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Thomas stated, "It is a true privilege to continue serving as national president of Paralyzed Veterans of America, and I am especially grateful to work alongside our talented Executive Committee."

His remarks underline the organization's aim to not only address immediate needs but also foster long-term improvements in care and support systems for veterans. Thomas believes in meaningful change, promoting accessibility, and enhancing quality of life for veterans, consistent with the organization's ongoing efforts.

Joining President Thomas on the Executive Committee for FY2026 are eight dedicated veterans, marking a blend of experience and passion for service. The committee consists of:
