Ace Group International Strengthens Leadership with New Appointments for Global Expansion
Ace Group International Strengthens Leadership Team
On January 10, 2025, Ace Group International made headlines by unveiling significant new executive appointments that are anticipated to bolster its leadership and drive accelerated growth in the global market. This strategic move comes as the company continues its ambitious international expansion efforts, reflecting its commitment to refine its operational and brand capabilities.
New Leadership Appointments
At the forefront of these changes is Chris Penn, who rejoins Ace as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With an extensive hospitality background spanning over 25 years, he previously served as the Managing Director of Ace Hotel London. During his tenure, he not only launched the hotel successfully in 2013 but also played a pivotal role in transforming the Shoreditch area into a thriving business and cultural hub. His contributions have been widely recognized, notably founding the acclaimed lifestyle brand Birch, which was named The Times and Sunday Times' Hotel of the Year in 2020. As CEO, he will oversee all operational aspects of the company and spearhead its growth initiatives.
Mostafa Abdella has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). With similar tenure in the hospitality industry, Abdella's career is marked by a progressive ascent from finance roles to managing director positions. His past experience as Managing Director of Ace Hotel London equips him with valuable insights into the brand’s operational requirements. Abdella’s focus will be on enhancing financial performance and operational efficiency across various departments, ensuring the delivery of excellent guest experiences, and driving profitability.
In addition to these appointments, Meriem Soliman has stepped into the role of Chief Brand Officer. Having joined Ace in 2012, she has a keen understanding of the brand’s evolution through her experience as General Counsel and President. Soliman’s extensive network across the art, design, and hospitality sectors positions her perfectly to lead brand strategy and connect with audiences effectively.
A Vision for Global Growth
Brad Wilson, Managing Partner of Ace Group International, believes that the combination of Penn’s and Abdella’s vast industry experience and their history of successful teamwork will provide Ace with a competitive edge in both domestic and international markets. He expresses confidence in their ability to drive commercial success and explore new development opportunities as they work collaboratively.
“This bolstered leadership team will ensure that we not only maintain the quality of our hospitality experiences at existing hotels but also strategically expand our footprint worldwide,” states Wilson.
