Strengthening Parent-Child Bonds: BeBe and Nagomi-an's Collaborative Baby Massage Event

The recent collaboration between the renowned holistic treatment center, Nagomi-an, and the children’s apparel brand, BeBe, has created a meaningful experience aimed at fostering parent-child connections. This special initiative, titled the “Parent-Child Affection Class,” was held at the Kobe Hankyu Communication Square, targeting babies aged six months to one year along with their guardians.

Nagomi-an, operating primarily in the Osaka region, focuses on enhancing overall health and wellness. Meanwhile, BeBe, based in Kobe, is built on the principle of “LOVE - Trust,” aiming to spread joy among children through stylish clothing. Both firms share a common value of emphasizing the importance of love rooted in trust and health for all generations. This synergy has led to the execution of their joint event.

The Parent-Child Affection Class

Conducted on September 10, 2025, the event welcomed participants across three sessions. Each session was meticulously planned and included expert guidance from Yoko Endo, a certified Child Body Therapist and top instructor of the International Holistic Therapy Association (IHTA).

Support was provided by three employees from BeBe, having completed the IHTA-certified baby massage training. Parents engaged with their babies, experiencing the enriching activity of baby massage. The responses from participants were overwhelmingly positive, with one parent stating, “It was my first time doing baby massage, but the instructor provided detailed guidance, and my baby seemed to really enjoy it.” Another parent commented on discovering a new way to communicate with their child, enhancing their overall experience of the event.

Health Benefits of Baby Massage

The baby massage technique taught during the workshop incorporates holistic theories and knowledge, allowing for safe and effective touch without undressing the baby. Parents learned about the various physical changes that occur during massage and the critical role of physical affection in child development. Following the success of the Parent-Child Affection Class, plans for another session on October 20, 2025, at the Hankyu Umeda main store are already underway. Each session is planned with a limited number of participants to ensure personalized attention and an intimate learning environment.
