AlphaESS Strengthens Its Energy Storage Market Position in the Adriatic Region at the Green Energy Fair 2026

AlphaESS Showcases Advanced Energy Storage Solutions

In a significant stride towards enhancing its presence in the Adriatic region, AlphaESS participated in the Green Energy Fair 2026 held at Arena Zagreb on October 28-29. The company unveiled innovative energy storage solutions aimed at residential, commercial, industrial, and large-scale energy applications, showcasing the growing demand for energy flexibility in the area.

Growing Demand for Energy Storage in the Adriatic

With the increasing shift in energy policies, the surge in solar energy utilization, and the pressing need for enhanced energy network flexibility, the Adriatic region is emerging as a lucrative market for energy storage solutions. To date, AlphaESS has successfully installed over 300 TB125 systems (125 kW / 261 kWh) across Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, amounting to a total storage capacity of more than 80 MWh. Specifically in Croatia, more than 100 TB125 systems were deployed in 2026, majorly aimed at frequency regulation projects for the power grid. This highlights the pivotal role that battery energy storage systems play in maintaining grid stability while also opening new avenues for revenue generation.

Comprehensive Storage Solutions for Diverse Needs

At the Green Energy Fair, AlphaESS showcased a variety of energy storage solutions tailored to meet the demands of different sectors. For residential applications, the company presented the SMILE-G3-S6 and SMILE-G3-T10 models, offering flexibility to accommodate single-phase and three-phase installations. These systems are designed to enable homeowners to maximize the use of electricity generated by their photovoltaic systems, optimize electricity costs, and respond to the evolving energy needs of households through intelligent energy management, expandable battery capacities, and reliable backup power.

In the commercial and industrial sector, AlphaESS highlighted the proven TB125 system, along with the launch of the new STORION-LC-TB150 model in Croatia for the first time. This model features a dual liquid cooling system for batteries and power conversion systems (PCS), achieving a full cycle efficiency of 91.7%, with a temperature difference not exceeding 3°C and noise levels below 65 dB(A). With a 20% higher power output and an estimated total energy delivery of over 230 MWh throughout its lifespan compared to comparable systems, the STORION-LC-TB150 combines high performance with multiple safety layers.

For large-scale energy installations, AlphaESS presented a robust offer for large-scale energy storage systems, underlining its capabilities for integrating renewable energy sources with the power grid and enhancing operational flexibility. A highlight of the presentation was the introduction of the new Aster 6260 model, characterized by increased energy density. Through proven turnkey solutions, AlphaESS meets various design requirements, offering scalable and reliable energy storage systems.

Strengthening Partnerships for Long-term Development

In addition to its equipment offerings, AlphaESS has developed its own Energy Management System (EMS) and cloud platform, which allows for intelligent optimization of energy use and efficient system operation. Having been established in the European market since 2015, the company also provides technical training, installation support, and after-sales service to its regional partners. Building on its experiences from various projects in the region, AlphaESS is consistently working to strengthen collaboration with partners, accelerating the development of the energy storage market in the Adriatic region.
