Team No. 129 Triumphs Again: Jeep® Brand Dominates The Rebelle Rally
Team No. 129 Triumphs at the Rebelle Rally
The 10th annual Rebelle Rally witnessed an outstanding performance from Team No. 129, consisting of Nena Barlow and Teralin Petereit, as they captured their fourth victory in five years. Driving the Jeep® Gladiator Mojave—the only Desert Rated model in the event—the duo solidified their reputation among off-road racing enthusiasts. This prestigious title in the United States' only women's off-road navigation rally showcases their skill and the vehicle's unrivaled abilities.
The Rebelle Rally covers over 1,700 miles across Nevada and California, making it the longest competitive off-road rally in the nation. Spanning eight grueling days, the rally demands self-reliance and endurance, featuring challenging terrains where no GPS, cell phones, or outside assistance is allowed. It truly puts participants to the test.
Capturing the title this year isn't just a matter of luck for Barlow and Petereit. They drove a standard 2025 Jeep Gladiator Mojave, continuing a legacy that began with two victories in the legendary Jeep Wrangler 4xe Rubicon. This year, they demonstrated the Gladiator's evolution in handling desert conditions, further establishing the Jeep brand's dominance in off-road competitions.
Jeep has long been synonymous with rugged terrain, and the brand's commitment to their vehicles' capabilities is evident as they celebrate eight out of ten overall wins in Rebelle Rally's history. "Congratulations to Nena and Teralin on another incredible Rebelle Rally win,” shared Aamir Ahmed, global head of Jeep brand off-road and EVs. “Their success showcases the unmatched capability and durability of the Jeep Gladiator. The Rebelle Rally is the ultimate proving ground, and we’re proud to support competitors who embody the adventurous spirit of Jeep.”
In addition to Team No. 129, this year marked the debut of Team Fun•Duh•Mentals, which included experienced participants Lyn Woodward and Renée Vento. While it marked their first collaboration, both brought substantial backgrounds, with Woodward having participated in six Rebelle events and Vento in seven. Both teams used stock Gladiator Mojave trucks, emphasizing the vehicle's versatility in the demanding competition.
As the Rebelle Rally celebrates its 10th anniversary, it continues to empower female competitors while promoting adventure and excellence in off-road performance. The Jeep brand has supported the rally since its inception, contributing significantly to its growth and encouraging women to pursue their passions in competitive and thrilling environments.
Jeep's heritage spans nearly 85 years, making them a global leader in the SUV market with a commitment to delivering advanced technology and legendary off-road performance. Whether it’s through their internal combustion engines, hybrid models, or all-electric vehicles, Jeep is dedicated to innovation and the adventurous spirit that defines its community.
