According to Li Junfeng, the Vice President of Huawei and CEO of the Global Public Sector Business Unit, smart technologies are accelerating the progress of digital productivity, marking the smart economy as a primary driver of growth in the current digital age.

Global Impact and Collaborations

A notable aspect of Huawei's initiative is its global collaborative approach. The solution emphasizes partnership with esteemed organizations like UNESCO, which plays a crucial role in administering quality educational programs. Ramon Iriarte, Senior Education Expert at UNESCO, highlighted how their partnership with Huawei's ICT Academy aids in providing high-quality education to nearly 300,000 students annually.

Huawei’s CTO of the Education Sector, Frank Huang, elaborated on how the Digital Education 2.0 Solution encompasses 11 technical disciplines, supported by a combination of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and big data. The program features 22 areas of technical expertise and offers global courses in project management, which are accessible through international training labs.

Professor Justin Mendes from Shenyang Institute of Technology shared insights on the transformative journey taken by his institution through the establishment of an international industry college in collaboration with Huawei. Furthermore, impressive experiences from institutions like the University of Hong Kong were also showcased, where Flora Ng, the Head of Information Technology and Libraries, discussed how Huawei's smart campus solutions utilize cutting-edge Wi-Fi 7 technology.
