Discovering the Future of Smart Cycling: TARRAN's T1 Pro
At EUROBIKE 2025, TARRAN, a leader in smart mobility, invites visitors to explore its innovative electric cargo bike, the T1 Pro. Under the motto "Mind the Bike - Discover What's Next in Smart Cycling," TARRAN aims to showcase its vision for the future of cycling, blending cutting-edge technology with sustainable practices.
Experience Smart Cycling Live
The T1 Pro, which has already won accolades, will be available for test rides in the outdoor space F11, booth E08. Attendees will witness live demonstrations of the On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) system, providing insights into the bike's smart features. This system not only diagnoses issues but also allows users to handle minor repairs through official instructions, dramatically reducing maintenance time and costs. Major repairs, however, will still be serviced at TARRAN's Frankfurt location.
Collaboration with Key Industry Partners
Since its debut in 2024, the T1 Pro has garnered positive feedback from industry experts. TARRAN will highlight two strategic partners at this year's event. Enviolo, a premier brand in bike transmission technology, will showcase the T1 Pro equipped with their Enviolo Automatic system, demonstrating a seamless integration of smart cycling with intuitive gear shifting. Additionally, Gobao, known for their intelligent drive units, will present the T1 Pro featuring smart algorithms designed for enhanced performance.
Plans for an Expansive Electric Cargo Bike Range
Looking ahead, TARRAN has plans to expand its electric cargo bike range in 2026, introducing two models designed for varying needs and budgets while maintaining the smart features that characterize the brand. Both models will feature the upgraded TarranOS™, along with new intelligent functions and a total load capacity of 210 kg, suitable for transporting children or larger loads. Convenience is key, with a low center of gravity and a long-lasting integrated battery ensuring a safe ride, all while maintaining an elegant aesthetic with built-in locks.
Innovative Kickstand Solution
TARRAN also debuts an electronic kickstand at EUROBIKE, designed for scenarios where the versatility of the Landing Gears may not be necessary. This manual-control kickstand offers essential stability and safety across different riding conditions, reflecting TARRAN's philosophy of combining ambition with practicality. "While we explore bold innovations, we also focus on how smart design can yield significant benefits for daily riders," comments Ben, TARRAN's founder and CEO.

A Closer Look at the T1 Pro
Initially presented at EUROBIKE 2024, the T1 Pro features motorized landing gears that resolve stability challenges common with electric cargo bikes at low speeds or during stops. These gears function as an electronic stand, extending and retracting for support during starts, stops, and brake applications.
Safety features include an alert mode, Sentry, which detects unusual movements when parked, sounds an alarm, sends smartphone alerts via the TARRAN app, facilitates real-time GPS tracking, and even initiates video recording. The T1 Pro is equipped with a powerful 100 Nm motor, a dual battery system allowing for distances of up to 200 kilometers
, and top-tier configurations like Gates carbon transmission, full suspension, and dual cable steering systems. With a maximum load capacity of 220 kg, it's perfect for families needing an alternative to cars or for anyone seeking an intelligent cycling experience.
Pricing and Availability
The T1 Pro is currently available for pre-order at €6,999 through TARRAN's official website and select retailers, with shipments beginning at the end of June in order of reservations. Consumers can also receive exclusive gifts by testing the bike at Eurobike.
