KDDI Unveils New Ad Featuring Takasugi-kun

On September 19, 2025, KDDI and Okinawa Cellular will air their latest TV commercial (TVCM) featuring the beloved Takasugi-kun from the awareness-raising series "Takasugi-kun: Too High Awareness!" The new ad showcases Takasugi-kun practicing presentation skills, learned under the guidance of the character Chosugi-sensei. The commercial effectively highlights the new "iPhone 17 Pro" and the innovative "au Starlink Direct" communication service.

The ad opens with a classroom scene where Takasugi-kun (played by Ryunosuke Kamiki) and Matsumoto-san (portrayed by Honoka Matsumoto) participate in an extracurricular presentation lesson taught by Chosugi-sensei (NANASE NISHINO). With excitement, Chosugi-sensei instructs, "A great presentation starts with a hook!" This leads to a vibrant gymnasium setting, where Takasugi-kun stands confidently before a large monitor to showcase his presentation skills.
